Marriage License Requirements in Tennessee:
The license can be purchased at any courthouse in any county of the state of Tennessee. You must have a
Tennessee marriage license to be married in the state of Tennessee. You must be 18 years old or have a legal
guardian, or both parents present to sign for the license. Bring a valid driver's license from your state or
a certified birth certificate. The application for a marriage license must be signed by both parties.
The license is valid for 30 days. The state of Tennessee does not require blood tests, physicals, or a
waiting period. License cost: $38.50 in cash. The City of Pigeon Forge now has an office in which you may
purchase your marriage license on certain days of the week.
